Jeramy Shirley, MATCM, Dipl.OM, LAc.
Jeramy specializes in Kiiko Matsumoto Style Japanese Acupuncture.
She has received a certificate, granted by Kiiko Matsumoto to her students after completing a 150 hour training in Advanced Japanese Acupuncture & Moxibustion Techniques in the tradition of Kiiko Matsumoto and Master Nagano. Her study of this style of acupuncture and commitment to practicing it is ongoing. A highly developed system of palpation, Hara Diagnosis, is used to discover areas of physical and energetic blockage. Specific acupuncture points are then chosen which produce relief. Japanese Hara Diagnosis has its foundations in the same ancient acupuncture texts as Traditional Chinese Medicine. This style of acupuncture is highly effective for treating complex internal disorders, and pain anywhere in the body, including head, neck, trunk, shoulders, hips, arms and legs.
Jeramy sees patients under the title of Junior Practitioner at Yo San’s Blount Community Clinic.
She has been practicing since 2016. She holds a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University. She is Board certified to practice TCM both in California and Nationally. While a student, Jeramy did an Externship at both Venice Family Clinic and Venice Family Pain Clinic. After graduating, Jeramy completed an Academic Fellowship at Yo San. She also served as a Teaching Assistant for new interns in the clinic at both Yo San University and Emperor’s College. Currently, Jeramy is a Supervisor of interns at Yo San’s Blount Community Clinic. She also works with students in Yo San’s Herbal Pharmacy.
